I am married to David Sergent and co chair of this site. We have had a wonderful time meeting people and discovering our history. I am thankful for each person who helps us with this major undertaking. To remember who we are as a people instead of what they say that we are.

William Mitchell (Chub) Adams

Born July 18, 1893, at Burdine KY. Died September 26, 1926, at Norton Va. Married Annie Belle Fields April 17, 1917, in Norton, Virginia. Buried at Adams Cemetery Burdine, KY.

William Mitchell was the son of John Wallace Adams and Nancy Eveline Potter.

Willie (Buss) Adams Died Age 6
Ruby Wilma Adams Addington (my Grandmother)
Jack Dempsey Adams
Joe Douglas Adams

He was employed as a carpenter for Consol Coal Company and help build most of the houses in #2 Bottom Burdine Ky. He had a great love for horses and had a team he used in his sawmill.  Pictures provided by Katie Adams.
